Underberg School is truly unique. We proudly embrace our identity as “a rural school in a village,” and we continually strive to preserve this spectacular character within the beautiful Southern Drakensberg Region.

Learners who complete Grade 7 at Underberg Primary School leave with strong academic foundations, confidence, and a sense of community. Our pupils are highly sought after by larger urban high schools, where they continue to grow and make a positive impact.

At the heart of Underberg School is our dedicated team of staff. Their experience, passion for education, and genuine care for every learner allow our school community to flourish. Each member of our team plays an important role in creating a nurturing, supportive environment where children feel valued, inspired and encouraged to reach their full potential.
