We are fortunate to live in the country and attend a village school! However, this can prove tricky if your child attends extra classes with a specialist – which may mean a long trip to Pietermaritzburg.
To assist our parents, Underberg Primary School is privileged to host several private specialists on the premises at our Mastery Unit.
Our teachers are supported by the services of a resident Occupational Therapist (Kerry Venniker), a Remedial Teacher (Sue Armstrong – specifically NILD),
a Speech Therapist (Kayla Anderson) and an extra Afrikaans teacher (Donae Keet).
Underberg Primary School teachers appreciate this independently run support system that adds value to our school!
