Underberg Pre-Primary is a wonderful little country school situated at the foot of Hlogoma Mountain, directly across from Underberg Primary. We offer Pre-Primary Schooling for children from 2-3 years old to Grade RR (age 4-5) in a Godly environment.
Our aim is to provide a happy, nurturing environment where young children learn through play, exploration and discovery. Our qualified teachers and dedicated assistants work together to ensure that every child feels safe, supported and encouraged to grow in confidence and independence.
Our well-equipped Pre-Primary unit is fully enclosed and offers easy access to the Underberg School grounds. Children enjoy a variety of outdoor play areas, including sandpits, jungle gym’s, fantasy play, a trampoline and many other exciting spaces designed to support active learning and fun.
Learners also benefit from weekly specialist lessons such as music, Zulu, computers and sports for the Grade R learners. Throughout the year, children participate in a range of enjoyable activities such as excursions, visiting guests, dress-up days, messy play, show and tell, swimming and sports.
There are also opportunities for children to take part in extra-mural activities such as dance, gymnastics, playball and ballet.
Underberg Pre-Primary proudly serves as the Feeder school to Underberg Primary.
Underberg Pre-Primary is an amazing little country school at the foot of Hlogoma Mountain, directly across the road from Underberg Primary. We offer Pre-Primary schooling for learners between 2 and 3 years old up to Grade RR (age 4 turning 5).
We strive to provide a happy learning environment where children learn through play and exploration in the classroom. Our qualified teachers are dedicated, as are our teacher assistants.
The well-equipped pre-primary unit is fully fenced and has easy access to Underberg School. This allows the children to visit various play areas including sandpits, jungle gyms, cricket nets, a fantasy play area, a trampoline, and much more.
Our children also enjoy specialist lessons every week. These include music, physical education, and sport for the Grade Rs. Additionally, our children go on excursions, have regular visitors to the school, fun dress-up days, parent and grandparent visits, assemblies, bicycle days, messy play, galas, and sports days.
There are also opportunities for the children to participate in extra-mural activities such as gymnastics, playball, and ballet.
We are the feeder school to Underberg Primary which has an excellent reputation in the classroom and the sports field.
